Splitting the Pair in Blackjack

The player should not automatically split every pair. If the player is dealt a pair of ten value cards, he has a total of twenty. The dealer can only beat him by scoring twenty one. In that situation it is better to stand on the twenty than it is to split the pair. Most strategies will tell the player to split when the dealer shows a three, four, five, six and seven and the player has twos or threes. The player should split sixes, sevens and nines when the dealer has a two, three, four, five or six showing. Sevens should be split when the dealer shows a seven. These are the plays that give the player the best chance of  bingo games winning. In some cases the player can split a pair if he pairs a split card.

This gives the player the chance to win on both hands.

Blackjack casinos has rules that allow the player to place additional bets in certain situations. One of these situations occurs when a pair is dealt. The player has the option of splitting the pair. If the player wants to play UK bingo, he separates the cards in front of him and places a second bet equal to his original bet by the split card. Then each card is played as a separate hand. The card on the player’s right will be played first, with the player asked if he wants to hit or stand on each card. Then the card on the left is played in the same way.
